Animations 1991

In 1991 a curtailing of the "HART BEAT" series from 15 to 10 programmes, coupled with other work committments on my behalf, meant that I once again contributed three animated inserts to the programme. These were entitled "In the Forest", "All At Sea" and "Rolling Stock". The first of these featured Kate (as introduced in 1990) escourting a well-behaved pink dragon, and the second Kate practising her surfing skills (if ending up standed on a desert island as above). "Rolling Stock" then featured a railway engine character first introduced in 1989. This last animation also served as a title graphic to a section of the progammed entitled "THE GALLERY", and to which viewers submitted their artwork. Partially as a result of producing this film, in 1992 I was asked to produce three short gallery introduction animations in addition to three of my "usual" character-based cartoons.
